Our Agnostic Approach to Your ownership Transition
There is a common perception that business advisory firms just want to push you toward a sale because that’s where the transaction fees are. We operate completely differently.
We are entirely agnostic to your final outcome. Whether you decide to sell, hold, grow, or restructure your business so you can step back, our only objective is to help you make your best decision. We have no desire to rush you into a transaction.
Because we are committed to this unbiased approach, we do not offer Stage 3 as a standalone service. We will not take a business to market without doing the foundational work first. Stage 3 execution is exclusively available to clients who have completed Stages 1 and 2. You have to go through the gears to ensure that any major move you make is based on absolute clarity and operational strength, not rushed emotion.
Executing Your Tailored Transition Plan
If, after completing Stages 1 and 2, you decide your best path forward is to execute a transaction or transition plan, we are already perfectly positioned to support you.
A potential exit event is usually triggered in one of two ways:
-
A Planned Transition: At a time you have strategically chosen.
-
An Unexpected Event: Driven by an unforeseen personal change or an out-of-the-blue approach from a competitor.
Because we already know your business inside and out, we can step in immediately to ensure you don't leave money on the table or agree to unfavorable terms.
How We Structure Our Transition Support
No two exit events are the same, so Stage 3 is not a rigid program. To work out the best way we can help, we sit down with you to scope out exactly what you need based on your timing, industry, size, and the level of specialist advice required.
